The squads of the teams participating in Euro 2024, which kicks off on June 15,
are being revealed one by one.
Let’s take a look at the main contenders for the title.

Ranked as the top contender, England has a solid squad.
The strong core line of Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, and John Stones is particularly noteworthy.

Notable Features
Firstly, a significant number of players from Crystal Palace have been selected.
Under coach Glasner, Palace showed tremendous improvement in the latter part of the league season.
Thanks to the outstanding performances in attack, midfield, and defense, a total of four players have been called up to the national team.
The age distribution of the players is quite balanced.
There are veterans over 30 like Walker, Trippier, and Kane,
players in their mid-20s prime like Alexander-Arnold, Bowen, and Shaw,
and young stars in their early 20s like Bellingham, Saka, and Rice.
This mix ensures a blend of experience and youthful vigor.
If we were to point out a weakness, it would be the goalkeepers.
While Pickford and Ramsdale are excellent players, they do have some notable shortcomings.
Though they are highly capable, they might not be considered world-class.
Personal Predicted Starting Lineup
Goalkeeper: 1. Jordan Pickford (Everton)
As long as he remains calm, he can make stunning saves. Maintaining composure is crucial.
Left Back: 2. Luke Shaw (Manchester United)
Even with long injury spells, his skill is guaranteed as long as he can play. The key is staying fit.
Left Center Back: 6. Marc Guéhi (Crystal Palace)
Besides his great performances for Crystal Palace, he has consistently been picked by Southgate recently. His long passes and tackles are strong points.
Right Center Back: 5. John Stones (Manchester City)
He can also play as a defensive midfielder if needed.
His wide range of activity can have a significant impact.
Right Back: 2. Kyle Walker (Manchester City)
His physical prowess and excellent speed are still intact. At 34 (born in 1990), this might be his last Euro.
Left Midfielder: 4. Declan Rice (Arsenal)
Rice will play the role of the team’s engine.
As one of the world’s best defensive midfielders, he needs no further introduction.
Right Midfielder: 8. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
He plays more as a midfielder for the national team than in his usual right-back position.
His right-foot kicks are always anticipated.
Attacking Midfielder: 10. Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid)
A strong Ballon d'Or candidate and a formidable teenager.
Winning the Euro could significantly boost his chances of winning the award.
Left Winger: 11. Phil Foden (Manchester City)
He not only carried Manchester City this season but also won the EPL Player of the Year.
He can play on the left, right, and center.
Right Winger: 24. Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
This was a highly contested position, but Palmer seems to have the edge.
He can switch seamlessly with Bellingham and Foden.
Striker: 9. Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
He displayed his class immediately after moving to the Bundesliga.
However, he still hasn’t broken his trophy drought—will this be the time?
